Double-sided

Humility and timidity rhyme as effortlessly as  self-assuredness and misinterpretation. It is just a matter of interaction.

Isolation

How can I ask anyone to love me
When all I do is beg to be left alone

Well I’m hard, too hard to know

Trials and ponderations

Being outspoken has never propelled me to produce speech that is a proper portrait of my inner self.

Why ponder and pry into my principles only to prefer to remain silent?

I’m betraying my best interests.

Unanswered

What sort of stubbornness is worse than a sentimental one?
Is insisting on someone out of sincere neediness sillier or wiser than sacrificing oneself?
What’s certain is that the burden of being alone isn’t easily surmountable

Garotos

When you love so long
That the thrill is gone
And your kisses at night
Are replaced with my tears

Lyrics by Bat For Lashes,

Future

How reckless is stupidity diverted to oneself?
How many of the same mistakes is one entitled to make?
How careless does one need to be before becoming one’s own bait?
How far into the past does one need to see before being freed from its shelf?

Prose

Sighing is to disappointment what tears are to sadness. But when smiling makes you slumber, you have no choice but to share it.

Indolence

To accept what is given without proper pondering and careful consideration; what a sluggish pace to face the stream.

Words of Others

My Expired Photographs are all about the effect of time and how the traces left behind by the past shape and influence the world around us today.

**

When the head is the lid
And the voice is the key
The heart is the twist
That unveils the need

The ribs are the chest
And lungs can be love
That unlock what is best
From within the soul

A Prayer

Anxiety is the antecipation of fear
Fear is ignorance about the unknown
The unknown is something to be discovered

And that is all there is to it.

LATER

The Turbulence

May one day my whimsical mind be mitigated,
When my anxious weakened thoughts are obliterated
Then giving way to the magic wonders of every day,
When with the life of others I shall never play

But then again, what is the mouth to say?

Altogether

WRITING is dying and living and dying and dying and drawing and remaining.
To be strong and weak and strong and weak and obstinate and frail.
To allow, to permit, to allow, to allow, to allow to be able to let go.
Illusion, delusion: dreaming and daring and imagining and evading.

I need them all. All of them.
