The core of Brazil

Brazil is decisively a kitsch country. This is reflected upon every single element of the country’s culture, from the music the masses love to the most refined of the arts produced by the elite. It is as unavoidable as it is fascinating.

I understand it might be really difficult for a foreign to capture it at first, but try and keep your spirit open to the wonderfulness captured here:

The rhythm, the choreography, the poorness of the costumes, he lack of embellishment in the streets, the spontaneousness of the dancers and the means they choose to show their creation: this is where Brazilian art ultimately stems from.

There is no way to deny it; one just has to embrace it.

And thrive.
